This Oracle Pendulum Necklace features a vibrant, large opal at its heart, glowing with a spectrum of colors. Above it, a Australian Opal set in 14 karat gold adds a soft touch. The Ethiopian opal is embraced by an intricate design highlighted with bonded 24 karat gold.

How to care for your Ethiopian opal:

Ethiopian Opals are "hydrophane", this means that they absorb water and when they do their appearance changes. If the Opals come in contact with water, they will soak it up it like a sponge. If the Opals are submerged in water and allowed to absorb it, they may lose their fire temporarily. The fire and color should come back once the opals have fully dried, this can take a day to a few weeks, depending on how much water they absorbed.

This piece was made by hand using fine silver, .925 sterling silver, 14 karat gold and 24 karat gold bonded to the silver using an ancient technique called Keum-Boo. Here are the care instructions for your new jewelry piece.
